About

The agent tax should not exist.

Every year, Nigerian renters pay billions to middlemen who add no verification, no quality, and no accountability. NoAgency is the alternative.

Our thesis

Most rentals in Nigeria pass through an agent who collects 10 to 20 percent of the first-year rent. That fee buys the renter almost nothing: no verification, no condition report, no recourse if the apartment isn't what was promised.

NoAgency removes the agent and replaces them with a verified marketplace. Outgoing tenants — the people who actually know the apartment — get rewarded for facilitating a clean transfer. Landlords get direct access to KYC-verified tenants. Renters get honest, current, on-the-ground information before they sign.

We're starting in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. The mission is bigger: a real estate market that works because of trust, not in spite of it.
